NYC Math & Science Tutor

Math and science classes can be challenging, especially for those who need a little extra help. Teachers and professors are busy, and it can be difficult to track them down. Teaching assistants are often buried under a pile of work, and they may not have the skills to teach you in the way that you need. You have other classes, a job, and a life, and you don’t have time to try to chase down someone who can help.

Private Tutoring In Math & Science Is The Answer

Private tutoring is the solution. You don’t need to be a genius to pass even the toughest STEM courses. You just need a tutor who resonates with the way you learn.

I am a chemical engineer with over a decade of experience in the tech sector. I began tutoring during high school, and I gave up my engineering career three years ago to become a full-time tutor. I always had a fascination with math and science, and I learned a long time ago that tutoring others could help me refine my own skills.

After graduating from high school as valedictorian, I majored in chemical engineering at Clarkson University. Throughout college, I tutored others while maintaining my own grades, and I earned my BS at the top of my major. I then attended graduate school at Tufts University, serving as a teaching assistant. I worked as a scientist and engineer during that time, primarily in clean energy, thermal analysis, surface chemistry, and measurement techniques.

After grad school, I moved to San Diego, where I returned to tutoring while interviewing for engineering jobs. I drew more and more students every week, and eventually I decided to give up engineering in favor of full-time tutoring. I launched Bricks Tutoring in 2015 in San Diego. When I moved to New York in 2018, I re-launched my tutoring company here.

I can help you learn more information in less time, while reducing your stress and improving your results. You can ace that exam, pass that course, or earn the STEM degree you have always wanted. With your hard work and my skills and experience, you can make it through even the toughest STEM classes.
